Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving! We're still near Birmingham visiting Dad & Anna. Got a great visit in with Randy & Harolda plus got our dog fix in with their two new Jack Russel terriers. As it's Thanksgiving week, we're eating too much. Got some walks in, too. Weather's been fine (which means it has to rain next week when we planned to move - typical for our east coast visits.)
So not much else to tell. Gonna try to miss all the "busy-ness" of "Black Friday" tomorrow. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving & weekend! David

@ Pelham, AL
Here for a couple of weeks visiting Dad & Anna. They seems to be doing fine plus we've had one BBQ lunch from Golden Rule BBQ with them. We survived 3+ inches of rain on Wednesday and got a nice walk in, today. Hoping to meet up with Randy & Harolda before we leave, too.
On a sad note, our friend Craig in High Point, NC passed away late last week. At least we got to see him before he passed. We're keeping that family in our prayers.
Next week is Thanksgiving. Every one have a safe week and try not to eat too much. Later, David

Weekly Update
Weekly update from Stone Mountain Park, GA. We're fine. Looks like the rain is gone for awhile. And if you can believe the weather prognosticators, we may get to B'ham, AL next week before the rain starts, again. Also appears that we'll get a pretty good cold snap over this weekend, too. Thought we might beat it, but I guess it's not in the cards.
At the moment the campsites near our site are occupied by Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech fans for tonight's football game. Don't know if they're all staying for the weekend or not. It's amazing how people want to stop & talk to you when you're washing the trailer. I guess if you're outside, you're free game for a conversation. Anyway, glad I'm not having to drive downtown to the game like they are.
In other news, we're nursing a leaking water valve to the toilet. Parts on order and maybe - just maybe - we can replace it ourselves when we get the parts. Broke an LED bulb on the trip down from High Point. Ordered two more to replace it. Then when we cleaned the lampshades earlier this week, I realized I had bought LED bulbs with the right color (warm), but too many LEDs. We'll try them, anyway, when we get them just to see how it looks.
So that looks like it from here. Everyone have a great weekend. Later, David

Stone Mountain, GA
We're back at Stone Mountain visiting Doug & Louise. Rainy trip down on Tuesday, and it's been a rainy stay since we got here. And it looks to be rainy through next week. Warmer than usual for this time of the year (at least during our past visits in November). Humid with all the rain, too.
Stone Mountain Campground is adding yurts this year to the campground. Looks like at least five are being built. The picture above is of the handicapped-accessible one that appears finished. All of them have decks that overlook the lake.
We're getting out & about in the rain. Donna's got a haircut, and we've made trips for groceries plus one to Peco Campers looking at LED lights. Couldn't fine the bulbs I wanted (right size & warm light, but too few LEDs), so it looks like an online order is in store.
So that's been our week, so far. Everyone enjoy their weekend! Later, David
