Back in Shipshewana, IN

We arrived safely (and before the rain hit) in Shipshewana, IN last Friday.  Once the rain past, Donna's taken every opportunity to ride the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail between Shipshewana & Middlebury.  We've visited Ben's Pretzels twice, Boundary Waters (Sturgis, MI) once,  and Rise n' Roll once.

We also took advantage of the time to have some issues with the truck looked at.  Since we were in Two Harbors, MN, we've had the truck do some odd things - none which we can duplicate.  We know the windshield is leaking, and that water could be the culprit.   No codes were found, and I remain unable to convince anyone that the windshield leaks.

Anyway, I bought a new bicycle.  Been thinking about it since we were here in June.  Trying to get one that's a little more comfortable for me to ride.  Couldn't bring it
home as the truck was in the shop.  Got home after buying the bicycle and about 3 hours later my "smart" phone decided that it was time to go into continuous restart.  I couldn't get it to stop, so off to the Verizon store to see if they could help.  They did.  I walked out with a new "smart" phone that works a whole lot better.  Like the camera it has a whole lot better. too.  The pictures in this post are ones I took while learning how to use it.  Yep, Monday was an expensive day!
Anyway, we got the truck back.  Both my new bike and Donna's are at the bicycle shop having accessories added.  Hopefully, we get them back tomorrow.

So that's our week.  Monday is trailer service day.  While we'll have the normal service, we need the trailer axles aligned.  Not sure what that entails or how long it takes, but it's a new one for us. Once it's done, we're on our way to Shenandoah Natl Park - if the federal gov't stays open.
Oh, the pictures...(from the top), some horses in one of the pastures next to the campground.  If you walk the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail, it's easier to notice the images carved in the trees.  The next two are the mileage signs near the Dairy Queen in Middlebury. The last one is an example of the milestones placed every half mile along the Pumpkinvine.

So that's our week.  Everyone have a great weekend!  David
