Just checking in. We're fine. As we winter here on the gulf coast, it's the one time we seemed to be in a routine. Donna swims & rides her bicycle. I walk the park checking on the status of the new trails. We sometimes go to a movie. Sometimes go out to eat. The normal stuff, but we're enjoying ourselves.
We did manage to survive a few nights with lows below freezing. We're in one of the RV sites with the older water hookups. It's a tall one with a blue handle and we get a lot of rust when you first turn the site's water faucet on, so it's old. And with the few nights below freezing, the weather has taken it's toll. Water now seeps out the side of the riser pipe when water runs through it. It was on the campground's list to be replaced. They may move it up in priority, but I do see ones in worse condition as I walk the campground. Just part of life, I guess.
On the exciting side, we did have our bathroom door hinges come off the door frame. It was exciting, but we reinstalled it with some longer, larger wood screws (vice the short, self-taping sheet metal screws RV builders are so fond of using when installing things into wood.) And I found out both our batteries for the electric screw driver need to be replaced. We also found someone that the state park will allow to come into the campground and detail the trailer. We now have a good coat of wax to start the new travel season for the trailer. So things do work out.
Anyway, we're doing fine. Thanks for stopping in and checking on us. And for us Alabama fans, I confident it's the Russians fault...just sayin'. David
