Stone Mtn 2019

We've made our semi-annual trip to Georgia to visit Doug & Louise.  They seem to be doing fine.  Doug still able to get around.  Louise has developed a limp.  Donna and I admire how they just keep going forward.

As is always true for our spring time visits, the trees in the park are just beginning to bloom and the pollen is in abundance.

We've found the yurts to be quite busy on the weekends as was the whole campground.  We managed to get one of our favorite sites - site 20 on the C loop.  It's looong and is one of the few sites that we can fully park the truck in front of the trailer without parking parallel to the road.  It's also "satellite friendly" for us, too.
Hopefully, you'll enjoy the pictures attached.  I've put a lot of pictures of Stone Mountain State Park here on the blog and on Facebook over the years.  Decided not to post any on Facebook as it's seems it's just a repeat.  Put a few here so they wouldn't be stuck on a backup drive somewhere.  Maybe you won't see them as boring duplicates!

Tonight is our last night here for this season.  Tomorrow we head to High Point, NC.  I decided to make it a one day trip to High Point to allow us an extra day visiting Doug & Louise and give us some wiggle room as we had the truck serviced.  Never know when the dealer needs to keep the truck an extra day!  Unfortunately, staying an extra day makes for a long one-day drive, too.
We plan to spend the weekend in High Point and move to near Fredericksburg, VA on Monday.  As always, plans may need to change, but hopefully not too much.  If you're in the Fredericksburg and reading this, I'm sorry.  We bring pollen - lots of pollen!  Unfortunately, I think we bring pollen with us for the next two months wherever we go.

So that's it for this post.   I think this catches everyone up to date on where we're at, what we're doing, where we're going.  Thanks for dropping by and checking up on us.  Until next time, David
