Week 3 @ OWL Center

Well, our time is done at the Outdoor Wilderness Learning (OWL) Center.  We're finding that this three-week ministry stint is a good way to accomplish volunteer work.  You're not on a 40 hr week, and you're only there for a few weeks.  We had a great time and plan to go back - probably some time in 2013.

This coming week we're in Birmingham to visit my Dad and step Mother and try to catch up with a few friends.  However, last Saturday Donna completely rearranged our end-of-year travel plans.  From B'ham we're off to Virginia for a few weeks.  After Thanksgiving it's a couple of weeks in Fort Wilderness (Walt Disney World) before they jack-up the camp site prices for Christmas.  We'll spend Christmas with Donna's brother David and his family in Florida.  Looks like New Year's will be Gulf Shores, AL (all of this depends on what breaks when and how long it takes to repair.)
I promised a few pictures from our time at the OWL Center.  These pictures were taken by Sara Donaldson, and I especially appreciate her allowing us to use them.  Here's a few to let you get a taste of some of the things we did.  For our Facebook friends, there's an album with 157 pictures of our time at the OWL center.  Enjoy!
